The Honeybee Experience Day​

Step into the heart of the hive with our immersive, hands-on beekeeping experiences — always private, always unforgettable.

 

Unlike many other providers, we offer exclusively private experiences. That means your session is never shared with other bookings — giving you and your group our full attention, plenty of space to ask questions, and a truly personalised insight into the fascinating world of bees.

 

Hosted at our working apiary, these guided experiences are suitable for individuals, couples, or families of all ages and abilities.

You’ll suit up, open a live hive, taste fresh honey, and leave with a jar to take home — all under the guidance of an experienced, friendly beekeeper.

 

Each 2-hour session includes:

Private access for your booking only

Use of full protective beekeeping suits and gloves

Guided, hands-on hive inspection with a professional beekeeper

Tasting of delicious honey from our own bees

A jar of freshly harvested, local honey to take home

A personalised certificate of participation

Plenty of time for questions and photos

 

Whether you're looking for a unique solo experience, a day out for two, or a family activity with real educational value, we’ll tailor the session to suit your needs and interests.

 

Prices:

1 adult: £95

2 people: £145

Family (up to 2 adults and 2 children): £165

Larger groups can be accommodated upon request – please get in touch to discuss group size and pricing.

 

All experiences are available from late spring through to the end of summer, depending on weather and hive activity.
