We had a brilliant evening this week visiting the 39th Fife Cubs with our bees in tow! 🐝
The session lasted an hour and was packed with fun and learning. We brought along our observation hive, which meant the Cubs could get right up close to the bees without needing to worry about stings. They were completely fascinated – especially when they spotted the queen!
Everyone got the chance to try on mini beekeeper outfits, handle some real beekeeping equipment, and learn what goes on inside a hive. From how bees make honey to the different jobs they do, the Cubs had loads of great questions and were full of enthusiasm from start to finish.
It’s always a treat for us to see kids so curious about bees – and the Cubs were amazing. Respectful, interested, and not afraid to get stuck in.
A big thank you to the leaders for having us and making us feel so welcome. We love bringing the bees out to meet groups like this – it’s such a fun way to share what we do and (hopefully!) inspire the next generation of bee lovers.
If you’d like us to visit your group, we offer bee sessions that are perfect for kids, adults, and mixed-age groups. Just drop us a message to find out more.
Until next time… 🐝💛#HoneybeeExperience #BeeVisit #BeekeepingFun #FifeCubs #ObservationHive #BuzzingWithExcitement
